I decree it law, and so it is. From this day forth, all Mustang meets both small and large, shall be overseen by no less than (one) Tesla Model S for small meets, and an additional (one) Model X for larger gatherings. The purpose of this is twofold. Firstly, in the name of increasing the shame factor of any and all Mustang driver found to have attempted—and failed to control—a burnout, the presiding Tesla will then race (what remains of) the offending Mustang, further cementing said Mustang driver’s place in the hall of shame. Secondly, the presiding Tesla will also serve a secondary purpose in which it will divert media attention from any “Mustang meet” shenanigans by dint of being a Tesla, thus saving future car meets from legislative banhammers in a sacrifice of epic proportions.
